The Ironwood Ridge High School actors took on the challenging task of performing the Disney musical “Beauty and the Beast” this spring.  The challenges they had to contend with were numerous with extensive costuming, choreography, complex scenery, and musical ranges. Opening night put all those challenges to rest, and their efforts in all these categories were nothing short of stellar.

Runners, walkers, and wheelchair racers from all 50 states and three different countries flocked to scenic Oro Valley on March 24 for what proved to be another very successful year at the 9th annual Arizona Distance Classic.

The Tucson Padres and the Pima County Sports & Tourism Authority have announced the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres will play a split-squad Spring Training game at Kino Stadium on Sunday, March 17 at 1:05 pm. The game pairs the Tucson Padres Major League affiliate against the Major League team closest to Tucson. Both teams have a second Spring Training game that day in the Phoenix area.

When Mr. An opened his first restaurant, Great Wall China, in 1983, it was a most welcome addition to the Tucson culinary community.  With his ready smile, taste for great Asian food, and love for his community, Mr. An and his restaurant were instant hits.
