  1. article Recall Continental Ranch board

    Wednesday, May 8, 2013 4:00 am

The board at Continental Ranch continues to abuse their power by breaking yet another rule. Our governing documents clearly state that each house in the development is a “Member.” Each Member has only one vote in the elections, regardless of how many owners that house may have. Yet, we have two board members who own one house (only) and yet both serve on the board! So, they only have one vote in the elections, but two votes on the board! When I attempted to reason with the board’s Mesa lawyer (yes, he’s from Mesa, not Tucson!!!) the essence of his response was that they won the election, so we should just live with it, kind of like the Obama Administration (I have no idea what Obama has to do with this issue).

  2. article Upset by changes in Continental Ranch

    Wednesday, April 17, 2013 4:00 am

Are you one of the residents living in Continental Ranch who was shocked to see your Waste Management bill this past March double? Yes?...maybe…but only if you are a person who is disabled, alone and unable to put out your own trash without the help of WM. Why did this happen to those of us who are disabled? John Lambert created this problem for the disable community. You had your bill soar…mine was upped from $47.88 to $87.16. All other resident’s bills in CRCA remained as they were.

  5. article Continental Ranch hits last subdivision

    Wednesday, October 1, 2003 11:00 pm

Less than 20 years ago, Continental Ranch was a failed concept - a vacant swath of weed-choked lots suspended in limbo between the over-reaching ambitions of Charles Keating and his American Continental Corp. and federal regulators who took over during the savings and loan scandals of the 1980s.

    Tuesday, October 23, 2001 11:00 pm
