event for baseball fans on Saturday, Jan. 7. The event is being
held to celebrate hosting the 2012 season at Hi Corbett

Passengers can park and ride from Hi Corbett Field located at 22nd Street and Randolph Way. Passengers are encouraged to park on the east side of the baseball field. Be prepared for long lines and wait.

Arizona Distance Classic co-founder Gregg Forszt is calling this year his “last hurrah” with the event before he retires from Ventana Medical Systems as the company’s director of facilities.

This weekend, the 2011 Major League Soccer Desert Cup featuring
the New York Red Bulls and Sporting Kansas City will be the most
important professional soccer event in Tucson’s history. This
two-day event, March 4-5 at Hi Corbett Field, marks the first time
MLS teams have ever played in the Old Pueblo. It also marks the
home debut of FC Tucson, the city’s new semi-pro team featuring
local talent with diverse and unique stories.
