There’s a DVD that came out last week that deserves a lot more attention than it’s getting. “The Way,” hit theaters in October, and was recently released to watch at home.

I have to admit when "Drive" first came out in theaters, I
really wanted to go see it. After all, it stars Ryan Gosling who
couldn't seem to go wrong this year with hits like "Crazy, Stupid
Love," and "Ides of March."

The online streaming industry is growing and growing every year. Standing at the forefront of this online explosion is Netflix, the well known provider of both online streaming of thousands of different programs ranging from movies, to T.V. shows, and documentaries as well as in home, through the mail deliveries of their content. Netflix began the road to online kingship back in 1997, when the company began as a traditional through the mail provider. By 1999 the company had introduced a monthly subscription policy and now operates on both monthly payment and unlimited online streaming. Over the past decade or so, Netflix has found its way into the homes of many families, college students, and anyone else who enjoys video entertainment. Netflix has been able to stand amongst the forefront of much of the development of the in-home and delivery movie craze, but this rise to the top has not been one without trials and setbacks.

The latest of Meryl Streep’s career is now out on DVD. “The Iron Lady,” can be rented, but what may be lost on the movie that just received so-so reviews at the Box Office, is that it earned Streep her third Academy Award, and 17th nomination.

Before they opened, who would have thought that “The Smurfs”
movie would run a close second behind “Cowboys and Aliens” ($36.4
million vs. $35.6 million) at the box office?

What would you do if you were told that you could receive a
payment of $1 million, and to receive it all you had to do was
press the button in front of you.

“A Good Day to Die Hard” marks the fifth entry to the “Die Hard” franchise and the third film to come out in the last two months about an ass kicking senior citizen. The original “Die Hard” is a definitive action picture that can still make audiences cheer even after multiple viewings. Whether you love or hate “Die Hard 2” and “Die Hard with a Vengeance,” pretty much everyone can agree that John McClane made a welcome return in the sensational “Live Free or Die Hard” a few years ago. The previous “Die Hard” got just about everything right from the absurdly insane stunts, to the humorous dialog, to Bruce Willis’ committed performance. “A Good Day to Die Hard” has just enough fun moments for die-hard fans to take a gander. Regrettably, it remains the least impressive outing of this series.
