    Children who need a little extra support with their ABCs in the Amphitheater School District will get a boost this summer from an Oro Valley Community Foundation grant.  The grant has been approved for a new remedial reading “boot camp” managed by Copper Creek Elementary School but open to all students in the Amphi District.

    Randy Metcalf/The Explorer, Vincent Robinson, along with several other workers, was laid off from his job with Direct TV. Since then, he's looked for new employment with little success. He and wife Sarah sought the help of Tucson's Interfaith Community Services.
