In March, the Oro Valley Police Department School Resource Officers Unit began an investigation involving a possible inappropriate relationship between a high school teacher at Ironwood Ridge High School and a female student.

After allegations surfaced in March about an Ironwood Ridge High School marketing teacher having sex with a student, the Amphitheater School District placed him on administrative leave for five days.

According to news reports, a teacher at Ironwood Ridge High School has been charged with sexual conduct with a minor.

Drama students at Ironwood Ridge High School will be putting on the play, “Gatsby”, this Saturday at 1 and 6 p.m. The play was initiated and arranged solely by the drama students who decided to put on the play due to student demand. The group of drama students did everything from making tickets, programs, costumes, sets and scheduling times for rehearsals. The play will be at Ironwood Ridge High School located on 2475 W. Naranja Road and the cost to enter is $6 per person.

The Ironwood Ridge High School actors took on the challenging task of performing the Disney musical “Beauty and the Beast” this spring.  The challenges they had to contend with were numerous with extensive costuming, choreography, complex scenery, and musical ranges. Opening night put all those challenges to rest, and their efforts in all these categories were nothing short of stellar.
