The Town of Marana will host fireworks as part of its Star-Spangled Spectacular on July 4. Events will start at 6 p.m. at Arizona Pavilions; the fireworks are expected to launch around 9 p.m.

Marana Rodeo

Northwest resident Eleen Garity rounds the first barrel during the Marana Western Heritage Committee’s rodeo last Friday, and finishing third with a time of 17.34 seconds. The committee plans to hold a rodeo, which includes bull riding, calf roping and barrel racing, at the Western Heritage Arena on the third Friday of every month.
