Pima County Health Department released a statement today about potential risk of exposure of blood borne infection due to the faulty installation of equipment at a clinic located at 3662 West Ina Road.

The first-ever Marana Main Street Festival was held over the weekend with plenty of entrants in the bed race and plenty of fun, food and sun in the streets. Spearheaded by town staff and local business owner Teri Murphy, the event is designed to familiarize residents with an area of Marana that was once considered downtown before the introduction of Interstate 10 in the 1960s cut through the area’s development plans.

Everyone loves a good community event complete with arts and crafts, entertainment and activities for people of all ages. The first Marana Main Street Festival April 5-7 promises to deliver all that and more.

Each year the Town of Marana holds signature events. These are staples of the community and are a great way to experience all the town has to offer.

Marana Chamber of Commerce will host two Meet and Greet opportunities for residents to talk with the candidates for the Marana Town Council.

It was a honky-tonk kind of weekend in Marana when country superstar Easton Corbin performed at the Marana Health Center on Saturday night, showcasing a number of hits from his latest album, “All Over the Road.”
