A storm that “came out of nowhere” last week shut down
businesses for days, damaged cars and landscaping, and left people

The Marana Police Department is warning residents to avoid Ina
Road as crews continue to clear the damage caused by a microburst
late Tuesday afternoon.

Crews are working to restore two-way traffic on two lanes of Ina
Road this evening.

The microburst has passed but not its effects. The quick storm
hit the northwest side late this afternoon, around 4 p.m., downing
power lines along Ina Road.
