with. The former head coach of the Arizona Wildcats had a

Feb. 2, 2005 - AHEAD OF THE GAME: A pair of Ironwood Ridge High
School iron-men inked a letter of intent Feb. 2, the first day
athletes are allowed to officially sign with a university. To no
one's surprise, Nighthawk lineman Daniel Borg has agreed to take
his hulking 6-foot-5-inch, 285 pound frame to the Pac-10. The
senior will keep his talent local, suiting up for Mike Stoops and
the University of Arizona in the fall. In Borg, the Wildcats are
getting the Arizona Gatorade High School Player of the Year. Also
signing from IRHS is the man who Borg spent a majority of this high
school career trying to protect. At a small ceremony held at IRHS
Feb. 2, Nighthawk quarterback, Ryan Crawford signed his
letter-of-intent to play for the University of South Dakota. Other
suitors for Crawford included Eastern Washington and Idaho.
