    The Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce announced today they will continue to give customers $10 for every $100 they spend in OV Dollars until January 31, 2013. The Chamber has been offering this incentive since the town of Oro Valley launched its Shop Oro Valley Holiday Campaign on November 1, 2012. During that time, the Chamber has sold 51 cards, totaling $3,655.

    The Golder Ranch Fire District was created in 1977 by a vote of the residents in the area. The homeowners wanted to have a voice in their fire and medical care and at the same time, monitor costs. Today, the district serves a 210 square mile area with a population of nearly 65,000 residents. Included in the district are the communities of Oro Valley, Catalina, SaddleBrooke and southern Pinal County.
