  11. 25 feet away from a family of Mule Dear outside Reservation Lake, AZ.

My Husband Drew, my 11/2 year old toddler Bret, and I were camping at Reservation Lake, AZ and needed to go get more water from the spickett. On the way back, we came across a meadow with 4 feeding Mule Dear; 2 young bucks, the papa buck in velvet, and the mama doe. My husband stopped and took the first few shots, but i decided to get out and see just how close I could get to these creatures. I got as close as 20 feet next to the babies! They kept on feeding and weren't even spooked by my presence. They were so incredible, and I thank nature for letting me experience such a treat. This is truly a moment I will never forget and reminds me just how beautiful Arizona is! -Marsella
