A new luxury destination resort on Dove Mountain is looking to fill 70 positions in its golf, food, beverage and service departments.

Set along the high Sonoran Desert near the Tortolita Mountains, the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain offers a scenic getaway for locals and tourists, who will find a luxurious southwestern resort experience with their stay.

Today, Escalante Golf, Inc. announced the acquisition of The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain, home of the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play Championship. 

Daniel Mangione has been named executive pastry chef for The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, two-and-a-half years after providing acclaimed culinary leadership at the resort’s 2009 opening celebration. 

Around 9:28 a.m. on Dec. 29, the Northwest Fire District responded to the Ritz-Carlton in Dove Mountain report of an explosion and fire in the main laundry area of the resort.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has been named for the first time to the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List, achieving the reader-based accolade less than two years after its opening as Southern Arizona’s newest luxury resort.

Northwest Fire District responded to the Ritz-Carlton in Dove Mountain at 9:28 a.m. for a reported explosion and fire in the main laundry area of the resort.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has named David Serus executive chef for the resort, following an extensive international search to fill the sought-after leadership position. Serus’ role will encompass all hotel culinary activities, including those at CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar, Cayton’s Restaurant, Ignite Lobby Lounge, Turquesa Latin Grill, To Go, In-Room Dining, banquets, and catering for the 850-acre Arizona resort located between Tucson and Phoenix.

The National Open Championship of the National Pro Golf Tour presented by Arnold Palmer Golf Management is taking place now through Nov. 4 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has launched a new frequent-dining program that offers a roster of savings, amenities and special benefits available at all of the resort’s restaurant locations. There is no cost to join the program, which provides privileged year-round access to Arizona residents not actually staying at the hotel.

Promoting from within, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain, has named Jeffrey McCormick its new director of golf.

July 27, 2005 - A luxury hotel and resort long-planned to locate in the foothills of the Tortolita Mountains in Oro Valley may be on its way to Marana, instead, officials from both towns said last week.

The award-winning Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has appointed Marysell Diaz-Garcia to the position of manager for The Ritz-Carlton Spa. Overseeing all aspects of operations for the acclaimed luxury retreat, Diaz-Garcia joins the resort following several years managing spa operations for The Ritz-Carlton Spas of San Juan, Puerto Rico; Sarasota, Florida and Coconut Grove/Miami, Florida. Born in Puerto Rico, Diaz-Garcia has extensive successful experience in managing both spa teams and retail centers, and she has been nominated for leadership awards at both The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota and The Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove.
