The online streaming industry is growing and growing every year. Standing at the forefront of this online explosion is Netflix, the well known provider of both online streaming of thousands of different programs ranging from movies, to T.V. shows, and documentaries as well as in home, through the mail deliveries of their content. Netflix began the road to online kingship back in 1997, when the company began as a traditional through the mail provider. By 1999 the company had introduced a monthly subscription policy and now operates on both monthly payment and unlimited online streaming. Over the past decade or so, Netflix has found its way into the homes of many families, college students, and anyone else who enjoys video entertainment. Netflix has been able to stand amongst the forefront of much of the development of the in-home and delivery movie craze, but this rise to the top has not been one without trials and setbacks.

Growing up, my relationship with my mother was stereotypical in many ways. As a rebellious teen, I’d find myself staring down a punishment I didn’t like or a rule I didn’t want to follow and—in opposition-- I’d voice how differently I would do things when I became a mother. Without fail, she’d smile a knowing smile and nod pleasantly. “I guess we’ll see about that, won’t we?” she’d say.

ADOT marks centennial with publication

The Arizona Daily Star withdrew a petition to open a distribution center in Dove Mountain, forcing the Town of Marana to remove the item from the Board of Adjustments agenda.

Tuesday’s Board of Adjustment meeting in Marana will not include discussions on a poprosed distribution center. The Arizona Daily Star withdrew an application to open a distribution center at the Basha’s Shopping Center in Dove Mountain.

The Marana Town Council approved a rezoning request on Aug. 16, to allow AMEC Earth and Environmental, Inc. to move forward with custom-lot development plans.
