Heading into the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) ranked as number five in the world, Marana’s Sherry Cervi, 37, said she discovered her love for barrel racing at a young age.

Dec. 14, 2005 - Sherry Cervi took third in barrel racing at this
year's National Finals Rodeo held Dec. 2-11 in Las Vegas. The
Marana resident finished the 10-round event with an average of
143.47/10. By finishing third, Cervi earned $25,745 in prize
winnings. Cervi is currently ranked fourth in the world with a
lifetime earnings of $142,258. A member of the Women's Professional
Rodeo Association since 1986, the Central Arizona College grad won
world titles in barrel racing in 1995 and 1999.
